A great way to get active while helping out in the community! Volunteer coaches help make programs exciting and fun for children! Without their help, many great programs won't be possible. The Heart and Stroke Big Bike!
Big Bike for Stroke is a fun and unique 30-seat bicycle that will ride through Ohsweken. It’s a 15-20 minute ride, easy for people of all activity levels - and it’s wacky fun! Riders are asked to raise a minimum of $50 dollars each in pledges to participate and fabulous prizes are awarded to individuals and teams for pledges raised. Community Walking Club
The Community walking club is open to everyone and is FREE to attend! Pedometers are available for use. Every time you walk with the walking club, your name will be entered into a monthly draw for a chance to win a great prize! Six Nations Child & Family Services, Health Promotion & Nutrition Services, and Stoneridge Resource Centre are presenting a FREE Stroller Club. Instructed by fitness trainer that will enable mom’s to workout while pushing the baby in the stroller. Strollers and transportation available if needed (there will also be a draw for a new stroller at the end of the program).
