Boys and Girls Club of Brantford

The Boys and Girls Club membership policy outlines that no child will be turned away due to an inability to pay for membership. For times when someone cannot  membership afford they address them on a case by case instance. The club also provides payment plans for anyone who may not “qualify for financial assistance. The club is also a partner with Canadian tire Jumpstart and uses funding through that program to provide parties interested in their program with financial assistance. Brant Family and Children’s Services (Brant FACS)

Brant FACS does not provide direct supports for recreation. If you are currently providing care to a child through the society a per diem for recreation is available.

Child Care Services

Child Care Services provides subsidy’s for low-income families for child care throughout the year but is also able to provide subsidy to clients for summer camps and recreational programs that they have approved as they have met specific accreditation standards. This list includes County of Brant Summer camps, Boys and Girls Club summer camps and After School Program and some City of Brantford Summer Camps.

YMCA/YWCA Brantford

YMCA provides financial assistance to individuals, which can cover the cost of programming and facility use (memberships), fitness classes, a maximum of three fitness consultations, and adult programming and all children/youth programming and drop-in programs.
